The Story of Creation
Once upon a time our Creator, the Master Artist, created this Universe in which all of us reside.
As a Master Artist our Creator’s desire is to create magnificent beauty everywhere.
Within this vast Universe our Creator chose our Planet Earth for an Artistic Adventure, one for all of us to participate in.
On this planet our Creator created something that we all know as Life in many different forms. Our Creator’s desire is for this to grow into magnificent works of Art all around this planet.
An initial stage in this artistic endeavor can be envisioned as a time before the formation of those ancient civilizations that we are now aware of. This planet was already naturally beautiful back then with an abundance of plant and animal life. The breathtaking beauty of nature was seen everywhere with arrays of scenic mountains, forests, lands, water, etc.
Our Creator’s desire back then was and still is to further enhance the beauty of this planet. This is a desire once again for Life to grow and produce magnificent works of Art everywhere in every sensible way possible.
To make this enhancement a true artistic adventure our Creator decided to create artist teams for the purpose of producing this worldly masterpiece. These artist teams are Bodies of Humanity, each of which is composed of many individual cells. Every single cell in any of these Bodies is an actual human being.
For artists to be truly creative they need the freedom to create whatever they personally believe to be beautiful. For this reason, our Creator endowed Bodies of Humanity with Free Will.
Furthermore, to help fulfill our Creator’s desire for an ever more beautiful planet, human beings are endowed with a natural desire to both experience and express beauty, in both mental and physical forms.
As a matter of interest, to help people experience beauty, our Creator enabled every human face to become beautiful with a smile. Our Creator’s desire is for everyone to have much to smile about.
However, as we look about us, all around this planet, we see sorrow and despair everywhere. It is obvious that our Creator’s desires have not been fulfilled, at least not yet. Something has gone radically wrong. Here is a clue as to what happened: To help fulfill our Creator’s Desire for beauty, human beings are endowed with a natural desire for fairness. Our Creator had hoped that mankind would practice the Golden Rule, namely, to treat others as we wish to be treated. Unfortunately, that did not happen. A contagious illness broke out within many Bodies of Humanity, the Disease of Selfishness, a symptom of which is personal greed.
What our Creator meant to be a natural desire for fairness has all too often warped into a desire to take advantage of others. This is the desire to receive as much as possible from others while contributing as little as possible in return, directly in conflict with the Golden Rule. Examples of this are the adverse living conditions under which so many people suffer today.
Human emotions are reflections of our Creator’s emotions. When we experience pain and anguish due to mistreatment, our Creator grieves right along with us, and even more so. Because of the free will that mankind has been given, our Creator is unable to intervene directly on our behalf. However, our Creator can intervene indirectly through the minds and hearts of those who seek Divine Guidance. This is something we can do through contemplation and meditation, sometimes known as prayer.
It is still our Creator’s Desire to inspire us in the Creation of Artistic Beauty -- mentally, physically, and materially in every sensible way possible. As briefly described above, we have therefore been endowed with the ability to obtain inspiration through deep contemplation and/or meditation. For some people the purpose of their prayers is to enhance their receptivity to our Creator’s Inspiration and Influence.
Through deep peaceful relaxation we can allow our Creator to influence our thoughts. For some (including this writer) the use of a writing instrument enhances the process. Writing creative thoughts down as they occur somehow stimulates one’s personal creativity whereby one thought leads to another, and then another, and so on. Some may rightly question if their thoughts are actual inspirations or simply the desires of their personal egos. It is well to consider that if a supposed inspiration does not conform with our Creator’s Golden Rule of Conduct, it is not a Divine Inspiration.
Other human characteristics that our Creator has endowed all of us with are seeds of talent that have the potential to grow and blossom into career skills that are ideally suited to further beautify this planet. In modern psychological terms these seeds of talent are known as aptitudes. Every human being is endowed with the potential to create beauty in one form or another. This is not to say that every person succeeds in doing so. For seeds of talent to grow and blossom into useful career skills requires skillful mentoring and guidance, which unfortunately for many is not currently available.
The process of discovering one’s internal seeds of talent and nourishing them into useful career skills that contribute to World Beautification is an Artistic Adventure for everyone to pursue. The book Your Life’s Artistic Adventure has been prepared to be of assistance in this behalf.
It is conceivable that mankind has NOT been endowed with the ability to truly understand our Creator. Obviously, so much of our vast universe is beyond human comprehension. However, by observing what has been created on this planet, we can form opinions about our Creator’s reasons for those creations.
The creation of human life entails a unification of masculine and feminine characteristics. It is interesting to speculate and wonder if those characteristics are somehow a manifestation of our Creator’s characteristics. To make matters interesting (and controversial) the book Your Life’s Artistic Adventure takes the liberty to describe our Creator in the form of two entities, namely one Creator in the form of two Master Artists, in the conceptual forms of a woman and a man. It is fair to assume that our Creator has an equal regard for both.
It is interesting to ponder about what our Creator had in mind in terms of further beautifying this world into a magnificent work of art. Which forms of enhanced beauty were the Master Artists hoping for?
It is also interesting to ponder about how the Master Artists were hoping such an ideal world of beauty would be created by the various Bodies of Humanity that they created for this purpose. Their desired means of achievement included:
Finding and fulfilling a meaningful, pleasing, and satisfying role in world society is a Life’s Artistic Adventure for everyone to pursue. The preceding essay titled The Story of Creation is based upon the Golden Rule, namely, to treat others as we wish to be treated. The Master Artist characters in this story are admittedly metaphorical. An intention in the composition of this essay has been to respect people of all religions, as well as those with no religion.
This essay is obviously an overview of many developmental concepts that can easily lead to requests for additional information. The book Your Life’s Artistic Adventure has been prepared to assist with answering those requests. It is unlike any other book that has ever been written. You will find it to be both an interesting and informative reading experience. Enjoy!

It is interesting to ponder about what our Creator had in mind in terms of further beautifying this world into a magnificent work of art. Which forms of enhanced beauty were the Master Artists hoping for?
- First, they were hoping that their created Bodies of Humanity, each of which includes many individual people, would in themselves be beautiful, both mentally and physically. This beauty within and between the Bodies of Humanity on this planet would ideally be expressed as follows:
- Order and harmony would prevail.
- All countries and segments of society would interact peacefully and harmoniously with sincere admiration and appreciation for each other.
- Every person would have a meaningful role in society.
- Every person would strive to treat others fairly.
- Every person would have an appreciation for every other person.
- Second, they were hoping that their created Bodies of Humanity would enhance the beauty of this planet in many magnificent ways including:
- Buildings would be designed to exhibit architectural splendor – in places of business, in residential communities, and even in industrial areas. This architectural splendor would be suggestive of civilization at its finest.
- Scenic parks would be found everywhere with arrays of lawns, trees, waterways, and gardens, all carefully groomed to enhance their beauty.
- Habitats would be provided and carefully managed to preserve and enhance the natural beauty of plants, birds, and wildlife.
- Roadways would be scenically beautiful along which would be trees, grasses, shrubberies, and plants native to given areas.
- Waterways and bodies of water would be clean and pure, including creeks, rivers, ponds, lakes, and oceans.
- Athletic activities would be encouraged, and physical fitness would be emphasized.
- Artistic creation and appreciation would be encountered everywhere in the forms of literature, music, dance, theater, motion pictures, painting, sculpture, architecture, etc.
It is also interesting to ponder about how the Master Artists were hoping such an ideal world of beauty would be created by the various Bodies of Humanity that they created for this purpose. Their desired means of achievement included:
- Investments in personal education and guidance would have universal priority.
- Realizing that the future of our world is in the minds of our children, there would be universal concern for the well-being of children in all segments of society.
- Every child would have a loving mentor or mentors for personal guidance.
- Measures would be taken to ensure that every single child is properly loved, nourished, cared for, and guided in her/his personal growth and development processes, to become a healthy individual with a wholesome and satisfying outlook on life.
- Realizing that every child is born with seeds of talent, also known as aptitudes, conscientious efforts would be made to help every person discover her/his natural aptitudes and guide their development into useful, satisfying career skills.
- Every person would have the educational opportunity and guidance to develop her/his full potential, and thereby become a valuable, appreciated member of society.
- Communication and Social Skill Training would be in every school curriculum.
- Empathic reasoning ability would be an integral part of every school curriculum from primary school onward through all upward levels.
- Using the Golden Rule as a guide, namely, to treat others as we wish to be treated, principles of fair value exchange would similarly be an integral part of every school curriculum.
